We've been hearing a little buzz around Microsoft's new (free for now) energy management software, Hohm, for a few days now. So we decided to check it out ... see what all the fuss is about.
Hohm, which is currently only useful for a limited number of people, is a tool that allows users to monitor their own energy use then receive recommendations on how to conserve.
According to EcoGeek, the software gathers information about users energy consumption through a series of questions and by partnering with utility companies.
It sounds like it'll be an incredibly useful tool once it's up and fully functioning.
