Holiday Decor from Around the Blogosphere

The holidays are a time when everyone seems to let their inner Martha Stewart out to play. Even if you're not usually a person who likes crafts and cutesy decor, this month you may find it more acceptable. For inspiration on holiday decorating, let's take a little trip around the blogosphere and see what others are doing.

• I love the white fleece tree skirt with little red buttons from All Sorts. It's super cute but still classic. I still use a scrap of old fabric around the base of my tree so I think a tree skirt like this may be in my future.
• I had an inkling from her House Tour that Dana at House*Tweaking would put together a gorgeous Christmas tree. Of course she did! And she took it to the next level by adding cute floating holiday messages around the tree.
• Of course, holiday decor doesn't need to be all about trees and twinkly lights. This little vignette from Life in the Fun Line is evidence that even a simple little display can have a powerful impact.
• Speaking of subtle decor, I love the feather tree and book wreath from Trixie's Table. This is the kind of display that could stick around well into January.
