Sabrina Soto, Target's resident décor expert, has some great tips on decking your halls with seasonal style. Get creative with Sabrina and integrate different finishes, patterns, and textures for a holiday look that will keep your home dazzling into the new year.

Sabrina's tip: cozy textures and patterns add warmth to the room.

Baby it's cold outside, but cozy cable knits, friendly plaids, and fuzzy appliqués are here to keep you warm. The Threshold Orange Ice Stag Head Pillow features a velvet stag appliqué and a plaid accent border. Or, go bold with bright Red Plaid Pillows. Both will add an instant holiday punch to a boring bedscape or neutral sofa.

Textures are also great for adding warmth to a room. We're sure these Cable Knit Stockings will look even cozier when hung in front of a roaring fire, and they come in multiple colors to complement your existing decor. We also love this Knit Tree which will add even more cozy knitwear to the room.

Sabrina's tip: don't be afraid to mix and match metallics.

Silver and gold add a seasonal shimmer that you may not get to feature in your year-round decor. If your home style is traditional, or features natural colors and tones, add metallic accents that feature gold, brushed gold, or muted bronze for a warm and cozy look. If your decor is more minimalist modern, silvery accents can add a streamlined shimmer. Glittery accents, like this Standing Reindeer can stand alone or be part of a wintery mantelscape alongside other sparkling pieces, such as this Silver Owl.

Mixing metallics can also work in the textile department. Add a Silver Gray Sequin Pillow to bring the look to sofas, side chairs, or beds. This would look especially brilliant if your furniture already features chrome or silver hardware accents.
