Gifts that DIYers REALLY Want

We asked, and you answered. Inspired by what you DIYers wanted to unwrap this holiday season, we pulled together a list of no-fail gifts for the crafty people in your life. From the practical to pretty, here's what the creative folks amongst us would like most:

1. Tools. From the fancy Silhouette ($199 and up) to plain old power drills and self-healing cutting mats ($6 and up), DIYers want the perfect tool to get the job done.

2. Storage. There's never enough space for one's supplies. Pretty boxes are nice, but most crafters crave clear bins (like these flip boxes set of 5, $6.49) so they can spy what's inside.

3. Supplies. Whether they spend time sewing, scrapbooking, building, or painting, DIYers need to replenish their stash of materials. From pretty patterned washi tape (set of 3, $8.50) to gift cards from their favorite fabric or craft store, you can't go wrong with encouraging their creativity. Cute notebooks, like the Ideas book from Poketo (set of 3, $12) are a sure bet, as well.

4. Homemade gifts. Either from Etsy makers or made by you, DIY lovers, not surprisingly, love DIY gifts, like this homemade salt scrub. Sometimes it really is the thought that counts.
