Our family's Christmas lunch is a case of too many cooks somehow not spoiling the broth, and with 21 people coming, this year is going to be a big one. As we all converge at our grandparents house, there is an atmosphere of organised chaos fine tuned over time into layers of tradition. Beyond gifts and spiked punch, it's the happy chaos of our family celebrations that makes us smile at Christmas. More after the jump.
In the final week before Christmas it's easy to get caught in a frazzle trying to anticipate everything you have to do in the lead up to the family lunch/dinner celebration. Reminding yourself of what makes you smile at this time of year can help you regain sanity during those 'I'll never get it all done in time' moments. And as Laure mentioned earlier this week, pass that smile on to those around you, most likely caught up in their own frazzled worlds.
What are you looking forward to? Grandma's perfect turkey stuffing, catching up with loved ones, or sleeping in and lazing about on Boxing Day?
Tell us what you'll be smiling about this holiday season.
