One of my favorite weekend pastimes is perusing my nearest IKEA or The Container Store for storage and organizing solutions (that I may or may not need) or buying plants from local nurseries and home improvement stores. During a recent trip to Home Depot, while browsing for potting soil, a few organizing and storage solutions caught my eye. Even if you’re shopping for tools, paint, or plants during your next Home Depot visit, these three organizing finds under $15 are worth a look.

Hefty Hi-Rise Storage Bin

My open-concept apartment lacks closets and storage space, so I’m always looking for the most helpful and space-saving storage solutions. These Hefty Hi-Rise Storage Bins (on sale for $9.98 but typically $14.98) are perfect for keeping bedding, linens, and even clothes under the bed. If you want to use these bins as low-shelf storage, the hi-rise lid design also allows for above-rim storage such as craft supplies or board games for easy access. The secure latches also keep the lid closed tight to keep any moisture or smells from getting in.

Anvil 5-in-1 Organizer Set

Although I have a large toolbox that houses every tool, nut, and screw I own, I’ve realized that it’s a little too big when I have to search through it to find what I need to simply fix a wobbly towel rack. This Anvil 5-in-1 Organizer Set for $14.88 comes with five separate cases for a total of 65 compartments with customizable dividers and removable trays for versatility. I would recommend keeping one case with a few essentials, like a screwdriver and screws, in every main room for the ultimate convenience — no more rifling through one giant toolbox!

Home Decorators Collection Scroll Hook Rail

Once I started cluttering my wall key holder with hanging items such as masks, a disposable camera, and grocery tote bags, I figured a secondary rack would be a tidy solution. This Home Decorators Collection Scroll Hook Rail for $12.47 fits efficiently on an entryway wall without taking up too much space. It can hold up to 35 pounds which means you can easily hang heavier items like backpacks, jackets, and umbrellas.
