Hook it Up: Adding Extra Storage in a Small Workspace

When you've run out of closets and you've run out of drawers, you'll need to get creative with storage solutions. Good thing you read Unplggd, because we're here to "hook" you up, thanks to some hang-happy inspiration from these Flickr finds.

Flickr user masuidruve76 outfitting his small corner living room workspace with plenty of under-desk-pullout and drawer-unit storage. But for a few extras—like his backpack and headphones—he hooked up his workspace with some, well, hooks.

A small suction cup hook (like this one for $6) attached to the front of one f the drawer units is a perfect place to keep headphones out of the way, but at easy reach. (Hope he doesn't need to get into those drawers underneath too often.)

And for a real exercise in maximizing usable space, masuidrive76 attached a few screw-in wall hooks to the back of his desk, the side that faces the living room. They're perfect for catching living and office clutter, like tote bags and backpacks.
