A classic decorator's trick is to cover the key pieces in a room using only one pattern. These photos from Desire To Inspire caught our eye this morning, with their exclusive use of just one bold print. Often times, this fabric is carried over to the curtains, and sometimes even to the walls themselves...
With the trend in recent years towards a more eclectic, mix-and-match style of decorating, this uniform aesthetic has fallen somewhat out of vogue. It doesn't allow really allow for a room to grow over time in the same fashion, and often requires a substantial initial investment.
What do you think? Is this one for the history books, or just waiting for a proper revival? Would you do this in your own home?
