Colleen over at Apartment Therapy DC recently posted this Hot or Not about this tree stump shaped outdoor speaker. They're designed to provide high quality sound while blending into the landscape, providing up to 125-watt speaker plays stereo sound with a waterproof faux bois case. We're not sure they'd be our first choice for outdoor audio, as we'd prefer outdoor speakers that retain a recognizable speaker form, but in an aesthetically pleasing and modest design, rather than completely camouflaging them in a pseudo-natural case. What do you think?
If you happen to like these tree stump speakers, they've been drastically reduced from $399 to $140 at Smarthome, and are available in left or right channels with a subwoofer version to provide the deeper range of your outdoor beats.
