Hot Tip: Use Aluminum Foil to Remove Rust

Getting ready for summer entertaining means polishing up your patio furniture — some of which may have gotten rusty over the winter. Here's an easy, non-toxic way to get rid of the rust on chrome: use aluminum foil!

It's pretty simple, really:

1. Tear off a medium-size sheet of aluminum foil, about the size of printer paper. (Even better... use recycled aluminum foil!)

2. Crumple it loosely into a ball leaving some air pockets and a good work surface area.

3. Rub it over the rust! You'll want to put a little elbow grease in, but not too much that it damages the chrome.

Thanks, Mary!
