Beyond helping you stay connected with friends and those you wish to be friends with (holla at me, Oprah!), Instagram is a great tool for spotting up-and-coming trends. There’s power in the amount of times a hashtag is used, indicating that there’s something bigger brewing in the universe—and if you’re looking for some serious bathroom inspo, do we have some great news for you.

In order to find out the world’s most Instagrammable bathrooms, Mira Showers did a deep dive into searching particular hashtags that would indicate where people are traveling and snapping photos. “We know that many people get their own bathroom inspiration from some of the most beautiful hotels around the world, so it was fascinating to discover what some of the most photographed bathrooms are,” said Matt Herbert, Digital Communications Manager at Mira Showers.

Taking a look at hashtags #bathroomgoals, #bathroomsoftheworld, #hotelbathroom, #bathtubgoals, #bathroomview, the company pulled out the hotel locations that surfaced the most. The findings were fascinating and ranged in destinations, from the Punta Tragara Hotel in Capri, Italy, to The Silo Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. Here are the places that topped the list:

  1. The Silo Hotel, Cape Town, South Africa
  2. Punta Tragara Hotel, Capri, Italy
  3. Six Senses Zil Pasyon, Seychelles
  4. Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard, London, UK
  5. The Peninsula, Hong Kong
  6. Zannier Hotels, Sonop, Namibia
  7. The Udaya Resorts and Spa, Bali, Indonesia
  8. The Old Piggery at Windout Farm, Devon, UK

Then Mira Showers decided to take the findings a step further: they collected the 10 most recent bathroom posts from each of the hotels and averaged out the amount of likes to come to the final list. The reasoning behind this was to figure out which hotels out of the list would result in the most likes for those looking to step up their Instagram game.

In a landslide, the top hotel was the Conrad Maldives in the Rangali islands of the Maldives, separating itself from the runner up by 914 likes.

Want to see some of the other hotel spaces that made the list? See below for some serious bath inspiration—and just a warning, envy might be soon to follow:

Not actually sure if I would ever be able to leave this spot. Room service in the tub, please?

If only tub time always involved a ring of flowers.

What’s better than treating yourself to a bath with this view? When your partner can experience it, too.

So whether you’re jumping on Instagram or actually planning your next trip to see (and snap) the space IRL, these findings are quite helpful when it comes to what’s trending in luxe bathroom design. Unfortunately, no hotels in the U.S. made the list, which means hotels need to step up their game. Might as well use these hotel bathroom designs as inspiration to do just that!
