Hotels.com Wants to Pay You $10k to Lounge by Pools Across the Country This Summer

Summer 2019 is the summer of brands hiring Instagram influencers, and each gig is sweeter than the last. Rosé All Day wants to pay you to travel to the south of France, Cape Line Sparkling Cocktails wants to pay you to give up frosé, and Bumble wants to pay you to go on dates around the world. Now, Hotels.com is looking for a “Poolhop” to travel across the country and research the best that hotel pools have to offer. Yes, really.

“No one wants to be sitting at a desk all summer,” said Katie Junod, General Manager of the Hotels.com brand in North America in a press release. “There are so many incredible hotel pools to explore across the country and we want to give travelers a first-hand look at the crème de la crème. And who better to live the hotel life than our very own Hotels.com Poolhop?”

It all sounds too good to be true, but believe the hype. According to the Poolhop application, responsibilities are simple: you’ll get paid to travel, sip on summery drinks, and take ‘Gram-worthy pictures of your experiences. If you love sporting SPF and hotel robes all day long, this is the gig for you.

If selected, come August, you’ll travel to six of the most epic hotel pools in America: the Four Seasons Hualalai in Hawaii, the National Hotel in Miami, the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, Garden of the Gods Club and Resort in Colorado Springs, the Mondrian Los Angeles, and SLS Las Vegas. You’ll receive free travel and lodging, a $10,000 stipend, and one year of Gold Rewards member status on Hotels.com. Plus, the epic pics you take will be featured on Hotels.com and its social channels.
