Whether you paint a discarded chair a bold hue, spruce up your space with a vibrant indoor/outdoor rug or simply line your walkway with brightly painted pots, adding colorful accessories can be an easy way to bring your design sensibilities outside. As spring slowly approaches (here comes the sun!), here are ten inspiring images from past House Tours that show easy and affordable ways to add punches of color to your porch or patio.

Take a cue from some of these past House Tours and add a bit of color to your outdoor area - it's a totally simple way to add personality to your front or back porch year-round.

In Sara and Oliver's Treetop Bungalow Revisited, the homeowners used bold, red bottles as vases to add a bit of a statement to their serene table-top. In Sara and Michael's Bohemian Salvage House Tour, the couple combined a bright, blue chair with an orange wooden table and kelly green planter to add pizzaz to their plant-filled patio. In Maria's "Oh So You" Bungalow Tour, Maria made an inviting entranceway by adding cheery (and seemingly inexpensive to make) pots to the walkway of her home, proving that even if you don't have a sprawling backyard, you can make an outdoor impression with just a few punchy accessories.
