Protecting your home theater may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of childproofing, but Wired gives a great how to on how to keep your components from becoming your child's jungle gym.

Some advice they is to keep your flat screen high out of reach or housed within a cabinet to discourage swinging from the wall mount. The cabinet also gives you the ability to lock up media components away from curious fingers. Speakers too can easily become climbing challenges, and the article recommends a wall mount or a single enclosed sound projector.
