Painting your walls is a home improvement project that anyone can tackle, and it has such a big impact! Glidden® paint is on a mission to make it fun and simple to add color to your life. They've made this incredibly helpful How To video so that you can get started on your own paint project like a pro.

How to cut in and get clean edges without using tape:

  • Use an angled brush.
  • Dip your brush in the paint about a half-inch in.
  • Wipe off excess paint from the side of the brush that will go against the wall.
  • Place your brush on the wall slightly away from the edge and taper in to get a clean line.
  • You can also use a paint shield to help you get a straight line. The clean side of the shield is held against the ceiling or area needing protection. Remember to clean the paint edge between every few strokes.
