Looking to get a few more weeks out of that fabulous vintage outdoor chaise you found on ebay for ten bucks? Shelterrific, source of all things practical and helpful for the home, has a fantastic tutorial, chock full of photos, with step-by-step instructions for re-weaving the vinyl web seat on a patio chair...

After Shelterrific's Mary found this lounge chair on the sidewalk, she ordered a re-webbing kit online (a quick Google search for "re-webbing" comes up with many options). The kits come with the vinyl belts as well as metal clips or screws to secure the webbing to the chair frame.

Mary's tutorial shows you how to tell if you're going to need clips or screws, and meticulous photos depict the process of weaving and clipping the webbing onto the frame.
