What do you get when you combine magnetic paint, chalkboard paint, and felt? Well, you get a creative kids station that will keep your kids busy for a while!

This play area is more versatile than most, and when the kids get bored with the chalkboard, you can just flip it over to the felt side to liven things up.

Here's the list of tools you'll need:
Resene Magnetic Magic Paint, $57.90 a litre, Resene
Chalkboard paint
Regular wall paint for top coat over magnetic paint
MDF size of your choice
Wool felt piece slightly larger than MDF sheet in solid colour, Spotlight
Coloured wool felt, Spotlight
Range of magnets
Electric drill
Cup hooks
Wall plugs to suit your wall's material
Spray adhesive
Cutting board

If that doesn't intimidate you and you're up to the task, head over to Australia's Real Living for the complete instructions.
