Are your kids collectors? Are you always finding stones, sticks, and wilted flowers in their pockets, the bottom of strollers and on the floor of your cars? So was Megan of Plum Pudding so she devised these nifty Nature Cans recycled from oatmeal boxes.

What a terrific way to recycle, have a fun art project and encourage your kids' curiosity about and engagement with nature. The materials you'll need are basic: an empty oatmeal can, fabric scraps, glue and scissors.

Read her instructions and see what other crafty ideas Megan has at her blog, Plum Pudding.
