How To: Make a No-Sew Throw

At a baby shower we attended recently, one of the gifts was this amazing and amazingly soft fleece blanket. We never knew that our friend was so handy with a needle and thread. Turns out she's not. This blanket's completely no-sew. All you need is two pieces of fleece and a scissor. You can also make a pillow or a scarf using the same method. How-tos after the jump...

  1. Lay out two same-sized pieces of fleece, one on top of the other, right side facing out. Our friend used two 1 yard pieces.
  2. Cut squares out of each corner.
  3. Cut 1" wide sections of fringe to match the corner cuts. Our friend suggests 4" fringe.
  4. Tie the two side together using an overhand knot. At the corners, cross over the fringe so that the bottom left reaches over the top right
