How To: Make a Pin Prick Card

We've mentioned Yellow Owl Workshop's great paper products before, now founder Christine Schmidt shares an easy and fast way to make a great greeting card impression from her new book Print Workshop: Hand-Printing Techniques and Truly Original Projects.

This is simple, speedy and requires minimal supplies. It's perfect for any last minute greeting card need even for those who find themselves creatively challenged!

Supplies:
• template/artwork
• pencil
• blank card stock and envelopes
• cardboard
• pushpin

Step 1: Find a template or artwork or, make your own!
Step 2: Turn over artwork and trace design with pencil
Step 3: Place card face down on cardboard and place artwork (pencil side-up) on card
Step 4: Prick away!

Tip: Try using different sizes of needles and pushpins which can give you various looks
