Portable Memory Matchbooks

It doesn't matter if you're at home or on the go, kids are always doing the darndest things. They might take their first solo trip around the coffee table on their little shaky knees, or they could pinch the backside of the checker in the lane behind you at the grocery store. No matter the memory, you'll be able to record it with a Memory Matchbook!

Amanda Rettke over at I Am Mommy has come up with a clever little idea to keep track of the small and large things alike that happen in our children's life. Think of it as a mini scrap book without the pictures, a pint-sized journal of sorts to record the happenstances as your day progresses.

They're super simple to make, you just need the supplies pictured above and easily slip into a pocket or diaper bag. You can save them as you go through the years or make a special holder for them in a scrapbook (if you're into that sort of thing), but either way, you'll be glad you had this small record of those little things that made you smile, giggle, or be thankful they're only little once!

Check out the full tutorial at I Am Mommy.

Thanks Amanda!
