We've often thought about taking a stab at making our own little stuffed animal. The prospect is a little daunting, however; where do you start? This is where artist and designer, Sue Havens, steps in. She's written a book, Make Your Own Toys, with easy-to-follow illustrated instructions for 22 unique cuddly creatures; a veritable zoo!

In Make Your Own Toys she shares her passion for taking a create-as-you-go approach to DIY while using inexpensive and basic materials.
