DIY Millennium Falcon LED Lamp

Mods are fun, especially when they involve one of our favorite rust buckets, the Millennium Falcon. We spotted this neat DIY project that takes an old Millennium Falcon and turns it into a remote controlled mood light lit by LEDs.

Instructables user Simon Hadyn shows us how to create a remote controlled Millennium Falcon LED mood light.

To make this project, in addition to a Millennium Falcon, you will also need epoxy resin, double sided sticky tape, and an LED 5050 strip. The tools needed for this project include a power file, pliers, and wire cutters.

We love this project and think it would not only be fun to make but would also make a great gift. DIY, Millennium Falcon, and LEDs.... what's not to love?

For the complete set of instructions check out Millennium Falcon Wall Light and for more picture of this project and to see more very neat DIY projects check out Simon Haydn Automation.
