We have a flat panel TV and the first thing we did was to mount it on the wall. Now our installation was pretty easy because we had an open wall space without obstructions or features we needed to work around like a fireplace. While you could use a manufactured solution like the Ikea Stolmen or Inca swivel mount, sometimes your room layout calls for placing the TV in the corner. Not really an option with the standard mounts available today. Until now.

This new direct corner mounting bracket from Peerless can support TV's ranging from 32 to 60 inches. It works by bolting into the two adjacent walls and then connecting to another bracket attached to the TV. The nice part of this system is that you can place the cable box on a shelf on top of the bracket. This is then hidden behind the TV without having to worry about how to deal with the cables from the box to the TV.

Have a look at this video we posted before, but replace the regular flat wall mount bracket with this corner one and enjoy your new found wall space.
