How To Neatly Maximize Outlets in Bedroom?

How To Neatly Maximize Outlets in Bedroom?

Q: I just moved into my new place, and realized that my entire bedroom only has two electrical outlets, and they're along only one wall of the room. To add insult to injury, one of the outlets (behind the desk) only has one receptacle that is only 2-pronged — leaving me with only one "normal" dual outlet behind my dresser.

It would be nice to be able to charge my laptop or phone, or have a nightstand light by my bed. I'm just worried that it will become incredibly messy and difficult to run extension cords across my room. Two of my walls have doorways, to the hallway and to the balcony, so it becomes even harder to run a cord along the walls.

It's a rental, and the landlord won't do any electrical work for us. Any suggestions? There's a floor plan of the room above so you can see what I'm dealing with.
