How To Properly Coil Your MacBook's Power Cord

Sometimes the smallest tips make the biggest difference. The boys over at Tested show how a little modification of coiling your MacBook power cord can save you plenty of moneys from having to get it replaced from fraying in the future.

It's a bit tricky to try and demonstrate it in a picture or description, but the idea here is to add a little "pigtail" that alleviates tension from the usual "wrap it til it feels like you're making a hogtie" method. We just tried it and we can definitely confirm that the trick does wonders on relieving the stress on the cable. Have a look for yourself:
