Name: Ernie & Drew
Profession:Flight Attendant & Waiter
Location: Chicago, IL
Size: 1450 sq/ft 2BR
Years lived in: Owned for 5 (but recently sold)
Ernie and Drew sent us these photos of their two bedroom loft for two reasons: they love reading AT and their friends kept insisting that their place would be a perfect fit. To this, of course we must first say thanks for the AT love, Drew and Ernie. Secondly, you two have some pretty astute friends.
We're thrilled to post photos of this home because it's proof of a budget-conscious remodel and we hope it provides a fond adieu...
Drew and Ernie put a lot of elbow grease into this place. As evidenced by the BEFORE photos, they lived and worked through a complete kitchen and guest room remodel. We'd like to showcase the fact that they kept the budget down, by taking advantage of IKEA and also thinking outside box, using salvaged materials.
But now Ernie and Drew are moving! Between the time they sent in these photos and the time we finally posted them, they've listed and sold their condo (in less than a week!), a feat to be commended in this market. If you happen to notice any discrepancies in the tour, either furniture or floral, it's due to the fact that the photos were taken over time and these two are busy packing up shop. We only hope the new homeowners appreciate their stylish DIY efforts.
Good luck on your next place, Ernie and Drew! We look forward to seeing what you create.
