Adding Color When You Rent

Adding Color When You Rent

Renting a home doesn't mean you can't inject color into your surroundings. Even if your landlord doesn't allow you to paint the walls, your children's rooms can still be colorful.

Check out this shared room we found over at Family Living. The walls, ceiling and floor are white but the room reads bright and colorful. What's the other large surface here? The floor and one of the quickest ways to add color is through an area rug. This multi-colored rug grounds the entire room. The walls are dressed up with artwork in different colors. And even though they decided to leave the childrens' beds neutral, it seems the kids have added color themselves using stickers on the headboards. Awesome!
