I Hate Hangers. What Are Some Alternatives?

I Hate Hangers. What Are Some Alternatives?

Q: You know how everyone has that one chore they cannot stand to do, even though it's not that big of a deal? Mine is hanging clothes on hangers. Not only does it seem to take up unnecessary time at the end of laundry hour, it also exaggerates the hassle of searching through a cramped closet.

I'm more of a draper— on the back of an arm chair, over the the edge of the closet door, along the top of the dressing screen divider. I've even considered stuffing my closets with hat racks to keep my system desirable. When I saw the hook-on-dowel system in the cover photo for the recent RIBBA post, I squealed. I'm not the only person who wants all her clothes on hooks or edges?! Do you have any other handy draping suggestions in your archives? I could really use the guidance. Thanks.
