Update: iExpress has closed since the publication of this store review.
They were recommended to us for their custom upholstery service, through which you can order sofas, armchairs and sectionals in over 600 fabrics and in any size you require — so long as it’s not too radically different from the proportions of their floor samples.
We hear that the customer service is uneven, but if you’re willing to take a chance on that, you can enjoy prices that are very competitive: a friend had them make two extra long microfiber couches for $3,200.
There are a number of places that do custom work down in the Ninth Street furniture ghetto. Does anyone have experience with iExpress or with any of the others?
