We use tech in our kitchen each and every day &mdash there are very few meals we cook without it. It's great that companies are starting to adapt their products for niche uses, such as a cooking aid. It'll help all of us wannabe foodies achieve greatness in the kitchen.

The iHome iP39 iPhone Dock was designed specifically for kitchens. There are so many different ways to use an iPhone while cooking.

There are cooking podcasts you can listen to, thousands of videos and a billion and one recipes to whip you into culinary shape. The iP39 allows you to listen to your iPod or FM radio &mdash perfect for all of those podcasts. There's also two independent cooking timers, a set of USB ports that can be used to charge other devices and a magnetic remote that sticks to the side so it doesn't get misplaced.

The stainless steel device is cohesive with many of the modern day appliances you find in kitchens. The dock looks like a coffee maker that you'd typically already have in your kitchen.

We like that with the iHome iP39 the phone is actually docked. Like we said before, we always have our iPhone in the kitchen and it'd be great to not have to worry about accidental spillage on the counters. The dock is selling for $99.99.
