Headed to IKEA to stock up on holiday gifts or to give your home a much-deserved refresh ahead of your holiday gatherings? You won’t want to miss the 2021 IKEA advent calendar, which isn’t like any ordinary traditional advent calendar you’ve ever seen before. In fact, this year’s calendar includes daily deals and a voucher for a free Swedish meatball, which means you’ll probably want to buy one for every person on your list.

Available only in stores throughout the country, the 2021 advent calendar retails for $12.99 and includes an assortment of tasty treats, such as crunch Christmas biscuits, chocolate bars, and imported German chocolate with pralines, which means 24 days of surprises that will make this holiday season extra special for folks of all ages. Included with every calendar is a $5 IKEA voucher that can be used at any store in the U.S., as well as a voucher for a free Swedish meatball or plant ball (aka the iconic IKEA meatball but made with pea protein, potatoes, onion, oats, and apple for those who prefer plant-based offerings). Vouchers will be available to use after Dec. 24 until the listed expiration date.

Want more daily presents? Advent calendars come in so many themes and varieties these days, including pop culture inspired options like “Harry Potter“, “Home Alone“, and Dolly Parton. Some others that focus on edible treats include coffee, jam, and wine.
