Step inside any sized home and you’ll most likely find IKEA products. Now, as the holidays near, you can also find IKEA in one other type of home: the gingerbread house.

The Swedish retailer has recently launched an initiative that can help you build a cozier and more realistic gingerbread house this Christmas. Called the Gingerbread Höme, the project features downloadable stencils, which you can use to recreate six classic IKEA furniture pieces: the MALM bedframe, the STRANDMOM chair, the LACK side table, the RENS rug, JOKKMOKK dining set, and of course, the BILLY bookshelf.

Assembling the pastry furniture is easier than assembling actual IKEA furniture. Simply download instructions for each item, cut out the templates, trace around them to cut out pieces of gingerbread, bake, assemble, and decorate.

According to IKEA, they came up with the project after they noticed that gingerbread houses often appear empty and devoid of warmth. “At IKEA, we believe every house deserves to feel like a home — even if it’s made of deliciously sweet gingerbread,” the company said.

If you need help with the house part, Kitchn has an easy to follow guide (though if your palate is more savory than sweet, feel free to swap gingerbread for charcuterie). You can download the assembly instructions, as well as purchase baking accessories, on their website.
