IKEA has recently been on a mission to reproduce some of their iconic archival pieces for the 21st century, but they’ve also released a handful of new items that could pass as vintage. Exhibit A: The brand carries a best-selling modern floor lamp that looks like a one-of-a-kind secondhand shopping find (for just under $100, to boot).

IKEA’s slim ISJAKTLED floor lamp stands at 70 7/8” tall, with not one but two built-in light sources — the rounded top shade and extendable arm with an adjustable shade halfway down. The latter is positioned at just the right height to double as a reading or task lamp alongside a couch, chair, or desk, but the whole fixture works well for brightening up dark corners on demand.

The upper light is dimmable as well, so you can set the ambience in your room accordingly (and keep the “big light” off). There’s also the option to turn on just one lamp at a time, thanks to separate dials. Best of all, this style uses LED light bulbs designed to last longer and use less energy than standard incandescents.

Styling it in a corner of his loft, TikTok user @romeoroams shows the ISJAKT light in action in the video below. Even with the extendable arm, the whole piece hardly takes up any space while throwing light almost up to the ceiling and on the tabletop of a low-slung media console. The nickel-plated design also pairs well with his mid-century-inspired aesthetic, but it’s simple enough to add a sleek, modern touch to just about any interior design style.

For $99.99, the IKEA ISJAKT floor lamp essentially gives you two thoughtfully placed lights in one versatile, compact silhouette (it’s a bestseller for a reason!). The 9.5-inch-wide base can easily move from room to room, too, depending on your lighting needs; this could work especially well next to your bed instead of a nightstand table lamp, if you’re short on space. Wherever you install it, no one will ever guess it’s not a vintage find — let alone that it came from IKEA.
