In 1954, IKEA released the LOVET, its first flat pack furniture piece, in response to frustrated employee Gillis Lundgren trying to bring a table home in his car. Starting in August, the brand is rereleasing the table that started it all. The LÖVBACKEN has the triangular, three-legged mid-century feel of the original, for $60.

In other news, Barnes & Noble hosts LEGO architecture events, and check out the first "Twitter experience hotel." See the headlines after the jump.
