IKEA’s Teacher Appreciation Event Will Have Your Classroom Back to School Ready
If you’re a teacher that’s just finished out the school year, you’re probably doing all you can to avoid planning for this fall. But throughout this July and August, IKEA wants you to think about the classroom for a moment.
The Swedish retailer is hosting several one-day events for educators that are filled with interactive workshops and activities like A Clean Desk Dream, Classroom Wall Art, and a raffle for an IKEA gift card. And of course, no visit to IKEA would be complete without a cone of frozen yogurt, which will be free for each teacher.
The big event will also feature special bonuses for those teachers that make their way to the front doors first. IF you’ve got an IKEA FAMILY card and a School ID, you’ll receive a free gift. All IKEA FAMILY members will also be able to scan their card at the register, cafe, or IKEA FAMILY kiosks to enter to win a $75 gift card to the store.
Just an FYI: event dates, activities, and offers vary by store, so check on your local store’s webpage for specifics. The festivities start on July 10 in Jacksonville and wind up at IKEA New Haven on August 21.
If you’d like to sign up for IKEA FAMILY, you can click here to sign up for free or learn more information about the program, which includes special discounts on IKEA products, free coffee and tea in the IKEA Restaurant, and gift card giveaway entries with every purchase you make.
