I live a few blocks away from a Target, and once cooler weather hit, I got into this strange habit of taking a stroll through the entire store during my daily walks. Most of the time, I was in and out in 10 minutes tops, but other days I would languidly meander up and down the aisles carefully studying the contents of every shelf. And during one such evening jaunt, I discovered Casabella’s Infuse Hardwood Floor Spray Mop Kit. I didn’t need another floor cleaning solution—I had a perfectly good option at home—but something about the cool capsule design and affordable price point ($29.99) instantly caught my attention.

Once I bought my mop home, putting it together was a cinch. I simply had to align the parts and click the mop’s handle into place. But the real thrill was adding the cleaning capsule inside the water container and watching it diffuse. Casabella uses a neat cleaning cartridge concept that lasts for almost 100 cleaning cycles (mine is still going strong since October) and aims to cut back single-use plastic products. When you run out, you can buy the capsules separately for $3.99. Currently, they come in three fragrance options—lemongrass, Meyer lemon, and lavender and lemon—that are free of carcinogens, parabens, BPA, endocrine disruptors, butyl, ammonia, chlorine, formaldehyde, bleach, and basically any other chemical ingredients that can trigger allergies or cause harm to the environment.

Cool features aside, the Casabella is unlike any mop I have ever used. The self-contained water system that’s inside the mop prevents any messy drips trailing through the floor or nasty dampness, and it doesn’t leave any streaks or residue. I have tried my mop on almost every surface (hardwood, laminate, and tile), and the results are always shiny and clean. Once the tank is empty, I can easily refill it, and my mop is ready for round two. The base is a washable microfiber cloth that easily detaches and can be thrown in the washing machine. Mine has tumbled clean at least nine dozen times so far, and it’s as good as new after every cycle.

As an added bonus, it doesn’t hurt that, for a mop, it’s quite the looker. From the spiffy tank that turns green, yellow, or purple based on the fragrance you’re using to the chic white finishes to the nifty lever system, it’s the kind of mop that I have no shame putting on full display in my kitchen.

The brand also offers a wider range of cleaning products (including the cool cartridge concept) like sprays and microfiber cloths suited for every space or surface around the house. While I haven’t tested those out yet, I’m considering snagging them on my next evening walk around Target. For now, you’ll find me at home looking for any excuse to pull out my stylish Casabella. Because while I have always enjoyed a good cleaning session, for the first time I actually feel fancy while doing it!
