Inspiration: Metro Shelving

052209metro-01.jpgWe've always been a big fan of using metro shelving in the kitchen (and making it feel cozy by adding a table lamp and cook books). So when we spotted Liz's metro shelving in her office--we had to share. More pics of her charming workspace after the jump!

We love how Liz's metro shelving keeps the space open (which always helps make a smaller room feel bigger). Making the unit feel less industrial and more homey, Liz adds picture frames and antique glass containers. We're also really digging the texture of the pull down shade and sheer curtains paired as a window covering. Liz mentions that the desk is an antique school desk (complete with carved names from the past).
