Someday, I see myself taking some time off and exploring the country in an RV. My boyfriend has a similar dream of his own, but his involves a bike and panniers. Artist Kevin Cyr, might have the perfect solution for us with his pedal-powered camper.
Courtesy of the blog trackosaurus rex, this project came about as a functioning sculptural piece. Eventually it became the subject for a series of paintings and drawings. The camper-for-one sits on a modified bike frame supported by two back wheels and can be moved from place to place. While I haven't seen photos of the inside, it is said to have all the amenities needed for a solo holiday. I'm not sure how comfy the accommodations would be weeks on end, but there is definitely something appealing about the simplicity of this style of traveling. Could Kevin's camper bike inspire a new way to hit the open road?

8 The artist's studio. I love the contrast between the white walls and the dark floors, black windows, and black furniture. And I love that window!
