Inspiration: Watching Friends Go Green

Do you ever feel like your green efforts go unnoticed? Well, we're here to tell you that even if it feels as if nobody's listening, chances are they're paying very close attention. Yesterday, a friend of ours said something that gave us that warm, fuzzy feeling: as she was munching on an organic apple and some all-natural peanut butter, she said, "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't care what I eat." Wow! Before we became friends, she didn't mind eating anything the supermarket had to offer, but now...

We've met up with her at the farmers' market recently, and she has spent the last few months upgrading her pantry to organic staples. And she's not the only one: we've also noticed a shift in the eating habits of our parents, siblings, and coworkers.

Now, we're not saying this to brag, but we're pointing it out because it shows that if you're living by high green standards, the folks around you will begin to notice. And they'll eventually begin to play along —and that's when the green habits really catch on.

So, be inspired by the one close friend who's drastically changed her lifestyle to become more green, and watch as you see those ripples turn into waves!
