The Idea Of Giving In Your Home

Giving is simple and very rewarding. While day to day life happens, full of busy schedules and things to do, there are ways you can give in your home and to each other every day. When I was gifted these pretty flowers from a friend who asked me to simply "enjoy them in my home", I started thinking about...

...simple ways that people can give to each other in their home. While some may call these ideas "chores", take a positive spin on it and consider viewing them as acts of giving.

Here are a few ideas for giving in your own home:

Thanking your partner, roommate, child for finishing daily household acts, like making the bed, making dinner, cleaning up their room. And if you live alone, when you come home at the end of a busy day and your home is clean and put together, you will feel good!

Changing the toliet paper roll when it's empty. Yea, it may sound silly but some people just don't change it.

Cleaning up after you make a mess.

On that note, really get rid of clutter. When piles of this and piles of that are hanging around, it doesn't feel good. Take time in your home to make room.

If you normally get the good spot on the couch, ask your partner if he or she would like to sit there for a while.
