Interiors We Can't Wait to See: The Darjeeling Limited

Full of inspiration. The look of Wes Anderson's films always drags us in. We have ended up loving (and re-watching) The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic and Rushmore, but it was the aesthetics of each of these that first made us want to watch. Buying dvds is not something we do often...we just don't want more stuff and rarely want to watch films over and over, but those three are exceptions to our rule. We think the The Darjeeling Limited is going to be the same.

We've anxiously been awaiting a glimpse at Anderson's upcoming film since hearing about it earlier this year and we just watched the trailer...

...and it not only made us excited for it to come out, but made us contemplate a small film festival at home this weekend.

The Royal Tenenbaums
We love: All the interiors of the Tenenbaums townhouse, especially that closet filled with board games.

The Life Aquatic
We love: The cutaway view of the boat, the abandoned hotel and the uniforms!

We love: All of it, basically.

We can only imagine that the beauty of India is going to be taken full advantage of by Anderson in The Darjeeling Limited - from the glimpses in the trailer, the pattern and colors are going to be a delicious background to the action.

Any other fans out there? Are you looking forward to the new one?
