Now here's a smartphone app we hope gets made. While SwedeShop lets you jot down Ikea wares you want to pick up at the shop, this conceptual application lets you brainstorm what to buy before you head over to the big box retailer using photos of your house as a starting point.

Dreamed up by Andy Fisher, the iPhone app, which could easily work on other smartphones, lets you snap a photo of your room with your mobile and then paste images of vowel heavy furniture you hope will look as good as you imagine in your house. The idea involves access to a database of Ikea's images that you can then select and place on top of an image of your room. Once you've virtually decorated your space you can save and send your ideas to friends for their feedback.

Hey Ikea. Get in touch with Andy and get this app going already!
