Q: I’m stuck! We have just found out that we are going to go from DINK’s (double income, no kids), to a family of three! While this is super exciting, we are struggling to figure out how to mix a spare room with a nursery. We have two bedrooms and currently the spare room is used very regularly for visiting family and friends. To begin with, we will have the baby in our bedroom, but I would love to try and figure out a way to configure and decorate our spare room so that it could house an infant or a visiting couple. What do you think, should we opt for a sofa bed, try and squish in a double, some other configuration, or just tell our guests that we no longer have room? -Sent by Kerry

Editor: Congratulations! Readers, how can Kerry accommodate her baby-to-be and her beloved visitors (who are definitely going to want to come and see the baaaby), or are those two mutually exclusive? What baby-housing configurations worked for you? I have a few ideas, but I’ll join the rest of you in the comments!
