Jen & Omar's Matchy, But Not Too Matchy Home Office

Jen & Omar recently merged households and now call a former bachelor pad their current home. It's surprising how much they've already been able to accomplish, they just moved in three months ago. They collectively run a design business and we can't think of a better place to work together than in a matchy, but not too matchy shared home office.

We've talked a lot about double desks and long desks — but we haven't touched on using two of the same desk in a home office. What a great idea! Using two of the same desk gives the space a sense of uniform and symmetry while their personal items give it interest.

Using two of the same desk to decorate a home office is certainly easier when you're using such a fantastic desk (from West Elm). It's architectural, mid-century inspired and certainly functional — the same goes for the chairs.

We think it's really clever and interesting that they chose to uniquely decorate each side of their office. It's so apparent who works on each side just from looking at the art work!
