I think there are two types of people who buy celebrity homes: One is other celebrities; the other is people with a good amount of money and a deference for the stars. And if you’re the latter (or you’re just really waiting for a reboot of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”), I have a hot new listing for you: Actor John O’Hurley’s 5,391-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion just popped onto the market.

While known by many for his roles in shows like “Seinfeld” and “X-Files” (no big deal), today’s youngsters probably recognize O’Hurley as the distinguished host of the National Dog Show on NBC every Thanksgiving. No matter how you know him, you’ll be impressed with what working hard for six decades (and probably landing a pretty great syndication deal) can bring, because this property’s valued at $6.5 million dollars.

The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom Mediterranean villa-style home is what you might expect for a house at this price point in this part of Los Angeles, but that doesn’t make it any less pleasing to look it. The home is filled with opulent details like marble, Venetian plaster, and high ceilings, which J. Peterman would definitely approve of. However, mixed with modern touches like French doors and hardwood flooring, the space feels more California cool than stuffy.

And because this is SoCal of course, the home is an outdoor/indoor living dream. Case in point? The master suite is tiered and has not one, but two, balconies. Additionally, many of the rooms in the house have direct access to outside, where a gorgeous pool surrounded by lush greenery and a dining area with a fountain awaits. In the back, there’s also a guest house with a full bed and bath. (I’m assuming along racking up his 145 credited roles, Hurley has made enough connections to keep that house filled!)

Other stand-outs in the home? A stone fireplace, chef’s kitchen, walk-in closets galore, a media room, and a six-car motor court.
