Have $26 million? You can own Johnny Depp's estate in the south of France, with a converted church guesthouse and pirate-themed wine cave.
Depp bought the 37-acre Côte d'Azur property that encompasses the deserted village of Plan-de-la-Tour in 2001 and invested $10 million in restoring the 19th century buildings. The former church is now a guesthouse, where a confessional acts as a wardrobe; a restaurant functioned mainly as a dining room.
The main house is 4,300 square feet, with five bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms and an art studio where Mr. Depp painted. There's also the aforementioned wine cave with a Pirates of the Caribbean theme. The property also includes 2 pools and a skate park with a half pipe.
