The United States Environmental Protection Agency has asked us to take one small action this Earth Day — or rather 5 small actions, better known as commitments. They know change takes time, so they're asking us to pick 5 things to be responsible for over the next year — and we'll show you how to sign up!
In each category above, there are several sub choices to narrow down your personal commitments. You can register your commitment choices with the EPA from their website and get a glimpse at how others are aiming to please the planet over the coming months.
There are commitment choices for all levels of time and energy, depending on your lifestyle. You can simply vow to only use the water you need and reuse when possible, or you can help plan awareness activities in your community. But one thing is for sure, by taking a stand, even if it's a few small clicks on a website, you'll hold yourself more accountable over the days and weeks ahead of you this year.
