Justina Blakeney’s New Rug Collection is Double the Tassels, Double the Fun
Between working from home and limiting trips that require leaving the house, most are spending an unprecedented amount of time at home this year. If you’re getting tired of staring at the same old decor day in and day out, here’s a little bit of good news: You’ll soon have the chance to spruce things up with Justina Blakeney’s new rug collections from Loloi.
The creator of the modern boho brand The Jungalow, Blakeney shared a photo of the new Jamila Spice Rug on Instagram over the weekend, emphasizing that her “obsession with tassels is very real.”
There are 12 designs total and three new collections: the Jamila Collection, Leela Collection and Tigress Collection—all with distinct personalities and themes. The vibrant Jamila collection is made from wool and viscose, and features “playful tassels and bold yet current colors” ranging from warm oranges and bright pinks to teal and charcoal. For a more neutral color palette, the Leela Collection comes in ivory, terracotta, oatmeal, and sky, but is anything but boring. The subtle colors allow for each Leela rug’s “abstract and geometric freehand art” to really stand out. And for those of you feeling a little more fierce, there are the artistic tiger renderings of the Tigress collection in both tangerine and teal.
Known for its quality rugs handwoven in India, Loloi has attracted high-profile collaborations over the years including Joanna Gaines and Rifle Paper Co. Blakeney’s first rug collection with Loloi launched back in 2016.
The new Justina Blakeney x Loloi collections are available for pre-order now, and are expected to ship in late September and early October, just in time for you to revamp your space for a cozy fall.
