Justina Blakeney’s New Furniture Collection is Jungalow Dream
You can now get the bold boho style of Justina Blakeney in furniture form. Creator of the lifestyle and design blog The Jungalow, Blakeney announced this week that her collaboration with Selamat Designs is now available for purchase online.
In her announcement post, Blakeney describes her vision for the collection as “pieces that felt like design classics that have a modern/boho twist.” Mostly neutral and natural, “they will be the perfect framework to add layers of color and pattern on top of to create that maximal boho vibe I love.”

The 37-piece collection includes side tables, a dining table and chairs, stools, lighting, and accessories like trays, brass leaves, mirrors, and—of course—planters (your home’s not a Jungalow without plants!).
The collection is a collaboration with Selamat Designs—a family-owned San Francisco design company “that uses sustainable timbers and easily renewable resources, like rattan, to make really beautiful furniture,” Blakeney says.
Blakeney has been giving peeks at the individual pieces on The Jungalow and her Instagram since last year. She walked through her design process for the Zahra peacock chair, for example, and explained how she looked to interestingly shaped vintage pieces as a starting point, and then decided to also give it some pattern—which is inspired by classic French bistro chairs. There’s also a family tie to the collection; the smiley faced Bette and Arthur side tables and planters are named after her grandparents.
This isn’t the writer and designer’s first foray into home goods; she has a line of pillows and rugs, and her wallpaper collection with Hygge & West is extremely popular (and also available in removable wallpaper tiles). She’s even designed a wedding invitation suite with Wedding Paper Divas.
